Hi and welcome to my page.

First off, I’d like to address some commentary I’ve received regarding my focus on socio-political injustice.  Basically the comments consisted of telling me that I’m focusing too much on the negative and that I will just attract more of that, (i.e. the ideas presented in “The Secret”, which is “The Law of Attraction”).  I think the Secret DVD and book are both great (although I think it could be less focused on money/luxury) and I agree that the Law of Attraction is a very real thing, and the more people that use it for good the better our lives can be.  Basically the concept is that what we think about most, with strong  feeling of belief, whether it be positive or negative, will manifest in our lives; “Thoughts Become Things”.  “The Secret” is by no means the first book on this idea, there are many from decades past (and scripture etc. from centuries past).  The book and DVD ”What The Bleep Do We Know!?” also gives a good overview of the concept that on a quantum/consciousness level, we co-create our reality.  Other well-known books on the topic are “The Science of Mind”by Ernest Holmes and “The Law of Success” by Paramahansa Yogananda. 

As exciting and inspiring as this philosophy is, it is a personal philosophy, that is, it is about bettering your own personal life, not bringing positive systematic social change.  The film suggests that's all a matter of thinking, and that is incorrect.

Although created by individuals, social-justice is something outside ourselves, that requires citizen participation/activism to achieve. Poverty and injustice are mostly the result of systemic problems, that require systemic social/economis change, not just the change of thinking of the People.

Revealing terrible crimes and injustice (paid for by our tax dollars) is NOT negative thinking, it is not coming from a place of fear, it is coming from a place of love.  I (along with millions of others, and I assume you as well) want the violence/exploitation/fascism to end, and put simply the Law of Attraction isn't going to cut it.

The Law of Attraction isn’t going to end the illegal/unjust occupation of Iraq that is killing our soldiers and Iraqi civilians every day.  Having our “leaders” (in quotes because the last two presidential elections were clearly stolen, see my books page for proof) held accountable for their actions (through impeachment and re-opening the 9/11 investigation) CAN stop the insanity and violence however.  The Law of Attraction attracts things to oneself; it does not attract things to others, like peace to the children of Iraq for instance. 

We must be intelligent and recognize that social-justice work is just as important as positive thinking/feeling.  We can not ignore the fact that most suffering in the world comes from socio-political and economic injustice.  So that’s why I’m focusing on the SOLUTIONS, like Impeachment, Clean Energy, Paper Ballot Elections, Industrial Hemp, Re-opening the 9/11 Investigation, etc.

I care about my tax dollars being used to fund an illegal and unjust “war” that has killed hundreds of thousands of civilians (650,000+).  I care that my constitutional rights are being taken away, I care about freedom.  You can’t just ignore genocide/mass-murder/unjust war and tell yourself that you are staying in a “higher vibration”.  Consider the possibility that you are being apathetic, and that the lack of action and participation by citizens like yourself is the main reason why the terrible injustice was able to happen in the first place.

Isn’t Justice just Love in a different form?  Isn’t seeking Justice motivated by compassion for the well-being of others?

Without basic freedoms we cannot attain higher freedoms through a spiritual practice.  That is why all spiritual and religious people should care about the political reality in which they live.  For example, have you seen video of Chinese police raiding Tibetan Monasteries and beating the monks and nuns (who were later tortured) as they tried to flee?  Tyranny does not allow an individual to progress on their Path, it holds them in the bondage (physical and mental) of severe suffering and oppression.  You may think that our government is no where near as bad as the Chinese, but that’s where you' be wrong.  Haven’t Bush/Cheney killed 650,000+ civilians in Iraq in the past 5 years, in a “war” based on COMPLETE LIES?  Haven’t they tortured countless Iraqis and Afghanis?  And in fact, haven’t they killed over 3000 of our own people on 9/11/01 to achieve their imperial goals?

Most of the questions asked by the 9/11 victim's family members to the 9/11 Commission were never answered, (examples: why was the collapse of building 7 never mentioned at all in the entire commision report, why were some of the alleged hijackers found to still be alive?, etc… more below on the 11 Remarkable Facts About 9/11 Card)

Doesnt the facts presented below, in the documentary “9/11 Press For Truth” and here alone warrant a re-opening of the investigation? 

Ask Questions, Demand Answers!

9/11 is the most crucial issue of our time, politically (the “justification” for the Iraq & Afghanistan invasions, taking away our rights, etc.) & spiritually (fostering a culture of fear).  If you ignore injustice you can forget about peace, in the outside world or in your own mind.  You can also forget about “Enlightenment”, the greatest suffering in the world comes from political/economic sources, so if you are to follow the path of Love (described best by the Buddha’s Eight Fold Path, in my opinion) that brings Enlightenment, you cant ignore something like 9/11 being an inside job, or the killing of hundreds of thousands of civilians in an illegal and unjust war, or torture, or illegal detentions, etc. Common sense isn’t it? 

I believe our purpose is to reduce violence as much as possible on Earth, committed by ourselves and others.  (I expand on my beliefs in my “Eating The Apple” essay.) And since the Big Lie of 9/11 has been used to “justify” the killing (still going on) of hundreds of thousands of people of other nations (and about 3500 US soldiers and counting), and since Billions of animals are killed unnecessarily every year for food, I focus on those issues especially.  Doesn’t that make sense?  Non-violence/Ahimsa: the central tenant of Buddhism, Hinduism and other major religions, philosophies, etc.

Oh, and in case you didn’t notice (relying on mainstream media are you?) all of your constitutional rights have been taken away (search: Restore Habeas Corpus, Repeal Patriot Act, Repeal Military Commissions Act, for examples) and “President” Bush under a new Executive Order, will gain dictatorial powers in the case of another “catastrophic event” (read: another act of state-sponsored terrorism like 9/11) and there have been dozens of new “detention facilities” built for unspecified “new programs” throughout the US, (waiting to be filled with “enemy combatants”, aka anyone who is against fascism and tyranny?)
